Technical Details (a.k.a. Disclaimer)

I included this information on a few of my posts, but I figured it would get old so I’m posting this disclaimer here! Read if you wish.

Let’s get some technical details out of the way…This author will do her best to ensure the “science” and “history” stay consistent. History is a bit more subjective, depending on who you ask, so I’m less concerned about minor deviations. I am not a historian, astronomer, or scientist. I’ve done research as much as my schedule allows and the rest is pure imagination.

Please bear in mind, Simterra is a fantasy world so anything goes. I’ll do my best to make sure magic and rules are straightforward and don’t contradict each other, unless otherwise specified.

For simplicity, Simterra maintains a “years” system or passage of time similar to Earth and articles are written in English, with sprinklings of native languages (similar to Earth languages with some exceptions) and fantasy languages.

If you find an error, if you have a particular expertise that you would like to kindly share, and/or have questions or suggestions, feel free to contact me via this page. I will do my best to respond promptly and I promise to hear you out. However, I do ask that you be a decent human – please be kind. This is a fun project for me and is not intended to be scientifically, historically, or otherwise 100% accurate as fantasy isn’t 100% accurate (and that’s what makes it fun!).

You will see links to external sites at times, mostly Wiki and Wikia articles, but sometimes to Sims CC worlds. Always exercise caution when downloading third-party cc for your game. I have playtested all the “worlds” I mention below, but I cannot guarantee the content will be up-to-date or will work in your game. 

I will be adding pages as my schedule allows. Eventually you’ll be able to click on links in articles to other pages with more in-depth information. Again, I’ll update as articles appear. In the meantime, enjoy a cursory overview of Simterra, my fantasy homeworld for the Sims, and its surrounding star system.
